Head Injury Rehabilitation Awards

Nationally Recognised In Rehabilitation

Irwin Mitchell’s head & brain injury specialist teams were awarded the Rehabilitation Initiative of the Year Award 2009 at the Rehabilitation First Awards in London, having won the same award in 2008.

The awards are hosted by the insurance industry's key publication Post Magazine. The awards aim to highlight the pioneering efforts of those people and businesses supporting the role of head & brain injury rehabilitation for severely injured people.

Neil Whiteley, Partner and brain injury specialist with the firm's Sheffield brain injury team said: "With every case that we work on we strive to ensure our clients receive the very best levels of care and rehabilitation they need to enable them to maximise their recovery and enjoy the best possible quality of life. Rehabilitation is at the forefront of our minds for every client.

"We are delighted to have been recognised for our best practice in this field particularly in supporting the needs of our brain injury claims. The award is a testament to the firm’s continued commitment to rehabilitation for our clients.

"Anything that helps raise awareness of what head injury rehabilitation is all about is excellent news and we will continue trying to deliver inspired solutions to help our clients overcome the challenges they face."

Lynn Rouse, deputy editor of Post magazine and chair of the judging panel added: "Irwin Mitchell's proven one-stop-shop for severely injured clients, its policy of immediate rehabilitation assessment and tireless efforts to collaborate and co-operate with insurers made it a worthy winner - scooping the claimant solicitor award for the second year running."
