What our clients say...

You handled the whole issue sensitively and were there to support us through our darkest moments. Daniel's future is now secure. He will have the best care and equipment forever and his quality of life will be significantly enhanced thanks to you. Thank you for being great lawyers, for your friendship, for being there for Danny but, more importantly, thank you for Daniel's future.

About Neil's role

My specialist area is representing individual clients who have suffered a major traumatic injury, principally brain injury. I manage a team of lawyers and support staff dedicated to working with clients who have suffered from head or brain injury in our Sheffield office.

Legal Specialism

I act on behalf of clients with severe brain injury. I have a particular expertise in issues concerning mental capacity to make decisions after a head injury, and in issues of community care. I have acted for many clients who have recovered substantial settlements in excess of £1m.

Publications

I co-wrote a chapter for the publication Good Practice in Brain Injury Case Management published in 2006 by Jessica Kingsley Publishers.

Memberships and professional organisations

I am a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Charity and Community Work

I am a long standing member of the management committee at Headway North Derbyshire (formerly Headway Chesterfield). I am training for the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Neurocare; a Sheffield based charity that promotes excellence in acute medical care for brain injuries at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield.
