"I believe that our role as lawyers is not, and should not be limited to obtaining an award of damages. I endeavour to do everything in my power to help my clients to maximise their recovery, obtain the medical treatment they need, adapt to their situation, and have a better quality of life than they may have thought possible when their injury first occurred. I work hard for my clients to achieve the best possible result."
About Annette's role
I am a senior member of our Birmingham brain injury team, and I have the conduct of cases involving severe and catastrophic brain injuries, and cases that also frequently include traumatic amputations, severe orthopaedic injuries and psychological and psychiatric trauma as well as cases involving fatalities.
Memberships and professional organisations
I am a member of the Law Society and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Major cases of mention
I am currently involved in a case which is likely to attract a record level of damages for the Claimant. My clients include passengers and pedestrians who are victims of uninsured and untraced drivers, employees who have fallen from heights or been crushed by unfenced machinery, steam rail enthusiasts who have been left confined to a wheelchair, and whole families devastated by the irresponsible actions of others. Awards of damages I have recovered for my clients regularly exceed expectations.
Spare time and hobbies
I like to travel and enjoy sailing and scuba diving. I read voraciously, love my greenhouse and play the piano. I enjoy running and going for long walks in the countryside and, one day, the home I am renovating may even be finished...
