About Katie's role
I joined Irwin Mitchell's Serious Injury Team in July 2011, having been at the firm since 2002.
I joined the team to help people who have sustained serious injuries and to help make a difference to their unfamiliar and often very transformed lives. I believe that my role is not just to recover compensation for my clients but to help with rebuilding their lives and doing my best to ensure that they are provided with assistance so that they can try to live life as close to the way that they did before their injury.
Charity and community work
I have very recently joined the Serious Injury Team and so I am not yet involved in local charities but I hope to do so shortly.
Memberships and professional organisations
I am a member of the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX).
Spare time and hobbies
I enjoy keeping fit at the gym and spending time with my friends and family. I am also a big fan of cricket because my brother plays for Worcestershire CCC. I try to go and watch him play as often as I can during the cricket season.
