About Sue's role
Working alongside the Personal Injury Solicitors, my role as a Client Liaison Manager involves initial assessment of care needs of the individual following trauma, liaison with existing care teams and arranging additional care if required. Practical guidance and support is provided to the client and family to help them adjust to life after injury. This is followed with regular communication with the individual and their care providers to monitor progress during the rehabilitation process and for the duration of the claim.
Community and charity work
I was recently involved with training the Community Responders with the West Yorkshire Metropolitan Ambulance Service (a member of the community volunteers training on CPR and defibrillation). I am currently involved with Headway, BRAKE, The Nerve centre Huddersfield and the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT).
Memberships and professional organisations
- Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Royal College of Nursing.
Spare time and hobbies
I like to spend as much of my spare time as possible with my family. I also enjoy painting and illustration.
