What our clients say...

I don't think that William could have had a stronger team batting on his behalf and I think that the proposed settlement will help to contribute to his happiness and wellbeing for the rest of his life.

About Jane's role

I am a Solicitor working in Irwin Mitchell’s Newcastle office. My team specialise in making claims for adults and children who have suffered brain or spinal injuries. These injuries are mainly as a result of a road traffic accident or accidents at work.

Our team’s aim is to obtain early interim payments wherever possible, so that we can provide funds to put in place rehabilitation, a care package and suitable accommodation as soon as possible. We are dedicated to improving the quality of life of our clients and providing the most experienced and specialist legal advice available.

I was part of the team that secured one of the highest damages awards in the North East of England for one of our clients (£6.3 million).

Charity and community work

I am secretary of Headway Newcastle and North Tyneside. The group has been established so that people suffering from an acquired brain injury can meet along with their families and carers to exchange information, make friends and develop social contacts. I always strive to have a genuine and sympathetic insight into the real impact of clients’ injuries.

Spare time and hobbies

Out of work I like to run, watch television, spend time with my husband and our very demanding cat and I also like to watch Newcastle United.
