About Rebecca's role
I work in Irwin Mitchell's Newcastle office. I am part of a hugely experienced team which specialises in handling claims for adults and children who have sustained brain or spinal cord injuries. We work closely with our clients, experts, and service providers in order to put appropriate rehabilitation, care, therapy and accommodation in place as soon as possible for our clients. All clients are treated as individuals and our approach to an individual case is always tailor-made to meet the client’s exact needs. We always act fearlessly for our clients whilst supporting them sympathetically through the legal process.
I was part of the team that recently secured a £3.8 million pound settlement of damages for a client who suffered a severe head injury at work as a result of his employer's negligence.
Charity and community work
I am a member of the Newcastle branch of the Irwin Mitchell Charity Foundation. I help to organise and coordinate events in order to raise money for various charities both locally and nationally.
Spare time and hobbies
I like to go to the gym, read, see my friends and family, travel to new places and do voluntary and charity work in the community whenever possible. I currently work as a mentor for a charity in my spare time.
