Glasgow Lawyers Raise Money For Brain Injury Charity

Tracey Brown, Rashmi Singh, Lorraine Smart and Andrea Logan all completed the 10k race and raised £800 for Headway Glasgow.

Headway is a national charity that seeks to improve the life of people with a brain injury. There are more than 110 Headway groups and branches across the country, offering support and information to those with a head injury and their families.

Lorraine broke the one hour barrier for the race, completing 10k in 59 minutes. Tracey, Rashmi and Andrew came home in one hour 10 minutes.

Tracey said: “People have been so generous and really dug deep to sponsor our efforts. When we see clients coming in with acquired brain injuries it emphasises the importance of the work carried out by groups such as Headway Glasgow. All the hard work and blisters were worth it raise money for such a worthy cause.”

Simon Glen of Headway Glasgow said: “The Irwin Mitchell team put in a great effort. We thank them for all their hard work which will help Headway Glasgow continue to provide information, support and services for people with brain injuries and their carers.”
