IM team conquer Yorkshire 3 peaks Challenge

Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

Neil Whiteley and Stacy Gee from the Sheffield Serious Injury team have been hitting the hills of Yorkshire again! On Saturday 11 June they took part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for Fairplay, a Chesterfield based charity which supports children and young people with disabilities, and also their families.

The team completed their three climbs and 25 mile route in a time of 10hrs 47mins – a very respectable time!!

Stacy said: “It really was a beautiful walk, even if at times we were too busy being tired/falling over/eating Skittles and Fudges/taking painkillers to notice. We’ve raised over £450 so far for our charity and hope that we might reach the £500 mark before we hand over the final cheque.”
