What our clients say...

I don't think that William could have had a stronger team batting on his behalf and I think that the proposed settlement will help to contribute to his happiness and wellbeing for the rest of his life.

Collision Investigation

Many head and brain injuries occur as a result of road traffic accidents. We offer a specialist investigation service that can examine the circumstances of an incident at an early stage after we are first contacted, and put together the evidence that will be needed to show how that incident was caused and who was at fault.

Early investigation

After a serious road traffic collision, it is likely that the police will conduct a careful investigation, to establish the cause of the incident and to help to decide whether to pursue a prosecution against anyone involved. This will be an anxious time for anyone who has suffered an injury and their family.

The role of the police after a serious road traffic incident is mainly to ensure the immediate safety of those involved and of other road users and to investigate and prosecute any breaches in the law. The police often go further than this and promote road safety awareness to help others learn from the experience of others so that it doesn’t happen again.

It is common for a person who has a suffered a head injury not to able to remember what happened in the collision – a condition known as amnesia (retrograde-amnesia and post traumatic-amnesia). Many people find this incredibly frustrating. If you pursue a claim for brain injury compensation, we can help to fill in those gaps by obtaining information and evidence from the police and investigating what happened on your behalf.

Our specialist collision investigation services

If you have been involved in a serious incident and wish to have the option of recovering compensation, it is important that the incident is investigated quickly, carefully and expertly. Sometimes the police may have limited their enquiries, or their report may not be available for a while after the accident.

With that in mind we offer our own collision investigation service, to ensure that every care can be given in preparing evidence at an early stage after you contact us.

  • We will get the right expert advice to help us show what happened.
  • We can carefully reconstruct events through talking to the police and witnesses, inspecting the incident scene and the vehicles involved and preparing a reconstruction – whatever is required in your particular case.
  • We use experts to involve the latest in technology to prepare an incident reconstruction, and present the results in a way that helps prove a case in court. This might include preparing video evidence, digital photography, mapping with accurate plans and expert reports.

Sometimes this can get rather technical, but we'll do our level best to assist you in understanding what the evidence shows and how this will help your head injury claim.

The sooner that you contact us, the better, as we can then talk to the police and get moving with our expert investigations.
