What our clients say...

We found that the help and advice offered by Irwin Mitchell's client liaison service has been vitally important at a time when we all really needed support.  It has been accurate and professional but, above all, shown a genuine understanding and concern for our feelings during a very difficult time and has enabled us, as a family, to cope so much better than we could have done on our own.

Head & Brain Injury Resources

Adapting to the consequences of a serious head or brain injury is often a daunting process, and a steep learning curve. For the injured person, there are lots of questions and concerns, from "why do I need to go through this treatment?" to "what am I going to do to keep a roof over my head?" and "when can I get back to work?".

For carers, often forgotten by the systems set up to provide help, there may be even more challenges. It is often left to partners, family and friends to help pick up the pieces with little guidance, support or information. Knowing where to find helpful, understandable information is half the battle.

We have put together a number of useful pages to signpost you in the right direction to help find an answer to some of those questions. The internet is a great place to hunt down more details about many different topics, but it is no substitute for being able to talk to someone about your worries. Therefore we have included wherever possible links to where you can speak to organisations that specialise in providing advice and support.
